Curious Brian, re:

Answer:  JAE will make about 10^4 (ten to the fourth) more money in 0.5
(one half) the time.  Seriously, I think that his band realizes the
potential for postponements.  Beyond their initial disappointment I think
that they will enjoy John's renewed level of *celbrity-ism* which should
recharge their tour when it gets going again in November/December (my
prediction).

Everyone, re:  Simon at the Merc...

I will probably be heading down for that gig and would be interested to
know if any others might want to join up for (as well as prior and post-)
this.  I mentioned to Stacey that I am up for revisiting the Wee for "old
times sake" but there are other excellent places in the Mercury Lounge
area to hit as well.  Got a week to plan it out..let me/us know...
