MB vs. LA

Jeff (one of `em, anyway):

See, you can have beachfront property in MB for a fraction of the cost, live
like a king on 70 thou a year, and be as close as you want to the place Pete
Townshend comes every time he's in the US...the Baba Center, that is. He's
probably there right now. Man, wouldn't it be a kick if he came in here
today? Or maybe during the break in shows...I'll be back by then.
OK, I'm on the PT watch. I'll let you guys know. Actually, I hope it's after
the first three shows so that I can tell him how much I liked QUAD. Of
course, the fact that the place was named after his song will be obvious, at
least as soon as he sees my pic of The Who in Chicago `67 or the QUAD poster
on the wall...
Oh yeah, and we may have hurricanes...but we don't have any mudslides or
earthquakes at all.
