HBO (from someone who was there)

After watching the HBO thing I relized I mis-remembered a lot of
the show.
But one thing I did remember is that Roger was the star of
the show. Those 7 second screams in Had Enough were unbelieveable. For
those of you who only saw the show on HBO and thought it was lame all I
can offer is a cliche: you had to be there. It was really powerfull.
The HBO thing was not directed wonderfully (for one thing I didn't get on
camera dammit :) ) so you all got stuck watching Whitehorn(aka Ozzy) for
most of the show. At least the director managed to find JAE for most of
his solo in 5:15.
And everybody has been mentioning "where's Pete?" Well that's
not a director's mistake. Pete was not on the stage the whole time.
Thank god they didn't drop "Drowned."
Gary Glitter wasn't nearly as lame when I was looking at him from
30 yards away. Seeing those stupid expressions close-up really ruined
all my good memories of the show. And I wish Gilmour would just shut up and
play.
But as I said before the whole thing was a lot better for those
of us who were there so don't fret about the MSG show's they will not
disappoint.
