Hello fellow Who Freaks!
It certainly is a good time time to be a Who fan...would you say?
Anywho, for the last month and a half I have been viewing
(w/antipation)the daily Who Digest reports. It was from this particular
forum that i first found out about the MSG shows before ANYBODY else did
in the world. Couputers are soooooo coooool! To all those people that
I send in messages and reported on the MSG shows I say thank you very
much (especialy WFang and TapeBoy).
I would like to propose an idea now concerning our transportation into
NYC to MSG for WHO. The idea is Who music. What will people be
listening to. Is it proper to listen to Quadrophenia
driving/flying/training into NYC? Or is it better to listen to a
various mix Who tape. What follows are tapes I put together last year
(after the Live at Leeds release). I welcome any comments or questions.

I have one other point of interest to everyone going to the MSG shows:
ARE YOU AFRAID YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED? I have loved the Who and the
Quadrophenia album for a long fuckin' time. To be able to see The Who
perform it live...at MSG...is really a dream come true. But as my
grandmother says...Be careful for what you wish for becasue sometimes is
comes true. I'm looking forward to concert reports following the 16th
show.

"I don't smash my guitar as a gimick, but in the fit of wild abandon
that comes after a frenzied performance - where we really get into our
music, finally reaching a crescendo - well, the smashing scene that
follows is absolutely genuine...for years now our act has been based
upon steadily working up to a climax."
