RE: Billy Idol



I thought it was great the way Billy Idol introduced The Who.  Up to that 
point, everybody else had been introduced and that LA crowd needed to get 
more involved.  From my understanding, Townshend and Idol are good 
friends and Pete asked Idol to do the '89 show.  I can't say that I like 
the song all that much anyway and Phil Collins was doing his usual "ham" 
it up for the camera gig.
