 No ... the deadsea scrolls (some of them ) are on exibit in Israel . 
The rest are being researched ...there in a great documentry on them made
by PBS ( maybe frontline? ) might want to see if its in the vid-stores. 
They are the oldest know copies of the old testiment ( the book of "Job"
ond "Genis" and a few others) they show that the old testiment translations
haven't changed even though they were  hand writen. 
The vadican has little to do with it I belive ....mostly jewish
orginizations have ownership of them.
