my initial thoughts on Quad...

Hi Everyone,

Just got a promo copy from MCA in the mail. Mine has the same problems as WF was 
describing. The treble seems to fade in & out. *Both* CDs are shorter than the 
MFSl versions too. I only made it thru Quadrophenia before it started storming 
here, so I turned it off until I could listen more closely. From the first notes 
of The Real Me, it sounds "different". I don't really know how else to describe 
it. Also, the reverb (not the echo) on Roger's voice before "can you see the 
real me me me.." is gone. I did notice an acoustic guitar part on Quadrophenia 
that I'd never heard before.

Like I said, it started storming here so I couldn't listen as closely as I'd 
like, but right now, I'm not too happy with the new Quad. Also, most of the 
lyric notes that were under the song titles in the original book are now gone.
