Scott James Meets John Entwhistle at NAMM

That's right. While attending this years NAMM Convention in Anaheim
California where I was doing business for my pro audio website, I
immediately spotted jon and his band of gypsy's quitely enter the hilton
hotel and take up camp 10 feet from me. It was not a typical fan meeting a
typical mentor. I am quite sure that I was the first to approach him and
there was no hesitation. The meeting had three parts.

1. Intial introduction to allay any fears that I was just another fanatic
who would be irritating. Discussion of impending tour, hellos and all that.

2. I returned with my our photographer moments later for one quick photo
opp and some more discussion. It seems he and roger may not be talking.
These old men are such hard asses.

3.Now here is where it gets interesting. Being I was on the road working I
had my powerbook. On it resides a FileMaker pro data base of 50 who images,
both poster art and band photos. I booted up, and marched back over and
asked if I could show him a little "tour". He was laughing hysterically,
and his band was truely amazed to see how serious I was about John and The
Who. Further discussions of the tour allowed the drummer to pull me aside,
to make sure I make myself at the show in NYC at Trammps, so I can be
invited to hang out with them afterwards, and while they are in town. Such
is life, we shall see. This my friends was clearly the highlight of the
show, for Scott James. Further discussions ensued where I learned of the web
site Intel has put up for him at

http://www.eden.com/~theox/

He has a new record, The Rock(could not give me one, did not have them yet)
and no record label and will problably sell over the net. and direct. For
those who do not have access via the web or lynx we can post it here. let
me know.

I have just jumped and seen the site and it does exist, advanced liner
notes and more! I have not read the mailing list for weeks so this may be
old news. OLE.

Long Live Rock, Rock is Dead They say... and quite right, I'm sure.
Good day to you all. Scott James.
