NYC Record stores...

For those of you who plan on doing a little "shopping" in NYC on Sunday
before John party... Here's a list of stores for you to "check out"...
(They're all within several blocks of each other...

Bleeker Bobs
3 St. (one block East of 6th Ave)
(Who on vinyl--high prices)

Second Coming Records
Sulivan Street (one block East of above)
boot CDs

Generation Records *
Thompson Street (one block East of above)
boot CDs

Revolver Records *
8th Street (1/2 block East from 6th ave--about 4 blocks North of above)
boot CDs & vinyl

Subteranian Records
Cornilia Street (1/2 block West of 6th ave-about 4 blocks South of above)
a few boot CDs (mostly current releases) and some vinyl

The Golden Disc
Bleeker Street (from the above, continue away from 6th Ave and make a left on
Bleeker--a few doors down on the left. 6th Ave will be 1/2 block forward)
a few boot CDs and some vinyl.

Starting with Bleeker Bobs and following this pattern of store hopping should
take you in a near circle of your starting point. There are a few more stores
on St Marks (take 8th Street East and it turns to St. Marks), Vinylmania and
Smash. However, they are hit or miss. The latter sometimes has wierd imports
(I bought 6 Japanese Who CDs there one day), but often has nothing...

* denotes heavy inventory...

Good luck! And see yah at the JAE party...
