Well, I would say that depends on the drummers. I've seen at least two major
bands that handle two drummers quite well. Personally, I don't think Moon
should have been replaced by two...but it could have worked.
As I've said before, I think that (among the "known" drummers of the time)
Carl Palmer would have been the best choice. He's not Moon, but he's
powerful and talented enough to keep The Who on the same level,
performancewise.
