I'd have to check, but if memory serves me, the first "Empty Glass" was made
in Germany. I thought that one was "painful" to listen to---very tinny. The
next pressing I bought was probably an American one, and although improved,
still WAY too bright. The Gold one (to me) sounds too dull, but easier on the
ears and the new one, no better than the last variation...

As for "Chinese Eyes", I don't think it could really sound any better. I was
thinking about buying a few before I find out how they screw up the new one!
