No Pete never came out of the closet. There was the infamous Pete interview
by the British journalist Timothy White from more than a few years back in
which Timothy took something Pete said about 'his gay friends etc.' as a
coming out. I never read that article, but I have read a few other
interviews in which Pete has explained how he was misinterpreted.
Pete is married to Karen Astley (sister of Jon Astley), they got married May
20 1966 or 1968. They have 2 daughters - Emma who is about 27 and Arminta
(I've also seen her name spelled Minta) who is about 25. They also have one
son, Joseph, who is about 6 years old. I remember reading Pete say that
one of his daughters (Emma I think) was going to university and that she was
"brilliantly smart."
John's been married a couple times. He married Allison in around 1966 and
they got divorced in the late 70's. He has one son from his first marriage,
Christopher, who is about 25. Back in Feb '94 I went to the DST PPV show
at Carnegie Hall and at the end of the show John pulled a woman out of the
audience. You get a glimpse of her on the PPV show when they are walking
backstage. The same woman was at the Who Convention with John so I take it
she's his girlfriend.
Keith was married to Kim, and they had one daughter - Mandy.
Roger is married to Heather Daltrey and has had one daughter with her and
they may have had more kids I don't know. He was married once before when
he was really young and they had one kid.
I've probably made some minor mistakes on dates and ages and I'm sure others
know more, anyone want to help out here? I'd also love to know what their
children are doing these days.
