Kingpin--PT

So I saw "Kingpin" last night. In it, the song's "Save It for
Later" (one of Pete's favorites and a perennial cover for him) figures
prominently. Thunderclap Newman's "Something in the Air" is also
featured--written by John "Speedy" Keen, author of "Armenia City in
the Sky."
Now two questions: 1) Pete produced "Something..." and played bass
on the song. Did he play any other instruments on the song? And did
he use a name like Bijou Drains that time, too? 2) Is Andy Newman
from Thunderclap Newman the pianist on "Prelude" on Chinese Eyes?
Thanks,
Chris M.
