Where to party in London

This is a truly endless subject - even the short list! But check out the
White Horse Pub in Parson`s Green. Perfect for late June with its big
outdoor terrace and carefully selected real ales. Or the Sun Inn, Lamb`s
Conduit Street, near Russell Square, for the real ale fans.  Any of the pubs
in "old Soho" will rarely displease. For elegant drinking: the Star Tavern,
Belgrave Mews, Belgravia. Or the Grenadier, near Harrod`s. Most of the pubs
in Camden Town offer good music for a small cover charge on the weekend. And
there may be some good pubs still in the Old Kent Road, southeast London -
I`ll let the London list members take over ("who are you?") from here on.
And it would be nice to have some sentimental recommendations in Shepherd`s
Bush or, for that matter, in Twickenham. You might even run into......Gary M.
