If this did happen, there could be a plethora of new, worst openers for
the Who: Lurleen Lumpkin, Groundskeeper Willie, the B-Sharps, the list
goes on and on.

If it were on the way to Krusty's R&RC Homer would have to come in to the
store wearing his concert-going jacket (as seen in the Spinal Tap
episode), then have Pete ask about it's origins. Homer lunges at Pete
yelling wouldn't you like to know", when Pete whacks Homer with a guitar
in self defence then says, "I can dig it" (or maybe when Bart walks in
says "I got a cherry squishy for the first loud mouth git ' wants to take
it off me") Or even better, Roger can't make it to the show, and Homer is
sent on in his place, wearing a wig and his concert-going jacket. (having
heard Homer sing The Joker & We are the Champions, it would definitely be
a riot to hear See Me, or Baba ("<mumble> <mumble> <mumble> Only Teenage
wasteland oh yeah")

I think the Simpsons is a good idea though, if the Harrison, Starr &
McCartney, Spinal Tap, the Ramones, the Red Hot Chili Peppers can do it,
why can't the Who?
