One more vote for the SG / HiWatt setup. The USA radio show recorded during the Quad tour has been forever etched in my mine . ( how bad Pete and his Les Paul sounded! ) I 'd say the 1979 -82 time frame when Pete was using Schecters (sic ?) and Telecasters might have been my second most favoriteTownshend guitar period. Dennis
