   I just (finally) got my copies of the new Quick One and Sell Out.
A definate improvement over the originals.  But that has been
debated already here....
   My question is where does the US album Magic Bus fit into all this?
I presume it won't be remastered and expanded as quite alot is
now on Quick One.  Where is Pictures of Lilly and Circles going
to surface?  Studio Magic Bus?  It would seem that there was plenty
of time available to add these to the AQO.  Anyone know why/why not?

        Magic Bus is the album that never should have been.  It was 
a strange collection of assorted A- & B-sides and lp tracks (notice 
"So Sad About Us" and "Our Love Was, Is", the same tracks from AQO, 
are on this).  As the tracks on this album were so very poorly mixed, 
the Who were not at all happy about the release of Magic Bus.  Not only
that, but the full title of the album includes the words "On Tour", 
implying that the set list was actually recorded live. 
        There was no international release for Magic Bus....only here 
in America!  (What a country!!)  Anyway, this should clarify why there 
are no plans to "remaster" Magic Bus.    
       
        (In the words of Frank Zappa:  "America's wonderful!!  Wonderful, 
wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderfull..... it really makes it...!!)
