Townshend live
hey, all;
Just spoke to friend !msecero (Marty to most, Entwhistle to me),
and he wanted me to relay to the list that he was at the Benefit Concert
at the Paramount Theatre, NY last nite, and, among other things, wanted
to advise the list of Pete's involvement and songlist (played solo, unless
otherwise noted):
1) TKAA (with paul simon)
2) Save it for Later
The following tracks were played on piano!:
3) Slit Skirts
4) Cut My Hair
5) Love Reign 'Oer Me
6) I Put a Spell On You
The following on acoustic guitar:
7) I am an Animal
8) Drowned

He also said Pete played at the Encore, a version of paul simon's
"You can call me Al", and at this point he was singing and
dancing around, and generally having quite a good time.
(In fact, for all you jerky boys fans: "He was getting all
silly and knobby, and acting all stingy and bumpy, except that
I was having trouble with my glasses, so I couldn't see....so good...)
Oh, well, enough of that! Anyway, marty ALSO wanted me to
let yas all know that it certainly looks like there will be an
audio tape made available to those EXCLUSIVELY in this list, so
be prepared to trade (dig deep, marty has just about everything,
even if it IS bumpy and knobby ...!)
More details to follow tomorrow, when marty is back to work to
xmit his own funky message.
"Don't worry, Baby" (as sung by Keith Moon)
gary.
