Ummm...yeah, I guess...but isn't that what "fame" means?  That something is
famous; i.e. widely known?

Absolutely true.  But this isn't a "Hall of Critically Important Music";
it's a Hall of Fame.  And it must appeal to a wide range of fans, including
those who don't know much about, or (gasp!) even LIKE, The Who.

So they should have omitted them entirely?  Then how would you feel?

I guess they should have consulted this list before including The Who.
