An obscure bit of trivia about the White City album (actually about the
song "White City Fighting").

Did you listers know the melody was reused? The song is credited to PT and
Dave Gilmour. I'm betting Gilmour wrote the music, because a song called
"Hope" appears on WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JUGULA?, an album by Roy Harper &
Jimmy Page. "Hope" is credited to Harper and Gilmour, and the melody line
is the same as "White City Fighting", but a bit slower.

As far as the album goes ... I liked it a bunch when it came out, and songs
like "Give Blood" (especially the long version in the video) still gives me
chills, but it suffers by comparison to PT's other work.

If someone OTHER than PT released the album, I'd probably have a much higher
regard for it. Not fair, I grant you.
