Might as well ask what the best Who album is...  :)

I'm afraid there is no straightforward answer - only opinions.  WFang's 
deliciously diplomatic response sums it up.  I say buy 'em all, keep the 
ones you like and recycle the ones you don't.  Tip: search through the Used 
CD bins first.  You can usually find one or two in there.  Mute testimony 
to the idea that PT is unique to each of us, as are his moods and 
directions.
