Re: who tours
This is my first post. I'm only eighteen and in college, and I've really
gotten into Who music within the past few years. My dad is a big rock
fan, and has gotten me hooked on classic rock (most notably Lynyrd Skynyrd
and the Allman Brothers Band -- or shouldn't I mention these other
groups?). I saw Tommy on Broadway last year and ever since have listened
to the Who and considered them my favorite group. All their music is just
so powerful.
I was 12 the last time the Who toured and maybe knew about Pinball
Wizard at that point. I would love a chance to see the Who (even if it
was only the Who in name) or any members on tour solo. I'm surprised that
many people on this list aren't satisfied that they got one more chance to
see the greatest band ever.

Welcome aboard!
Geez, man, you make me feel old! You were 12 in 89--sheesh,
I was heading into 25. Oh well. I'm 30 and that's the way
it is.
I think we older Who fans are lucky to have see the Who
whenver we did, but we're always gonna grimace because we
didn't get to see them at such and such a time (in 1970, or
on the Quadrophenia tour, etc.). We're not bitching,
really, we're just now debating over whether it would be
worth it to see them tour again. And I honestly can't
believe it would be--only because I know their show's not
gonna be what I love about the Who. If they do tour, and
you get a chance to see 'em, do it. It'll be a great way to
make that connection with the greatest band ever. But all
of us older Who fans are gonna feel that they were better
some time ago. To each his own.
So, what's yer favorite Who album?
Got any bootlegs?
