Sep. 16.  At the Bottom Line, Shepherd's Bush Green, London, W12 8QE
(not sure why they include the postal code in the flyer, but oh
well...).  The day will be split into two halves, 1200-1730 (approx)
consisting of "rare sounds and videos, memorabilia to buy or look at,
mastermind competitions and raffles," and 1900-0000, consisting of
live Who music tribute bands and more.  The tribute band is Maximum
Who, and Simon Townshend with his band Animal Soup is scheduled to
appear.  Tickets are L5 day, L7 evening or L10 combined (L = pounds,
of course).  Cheques should be made payable to M. Kent or P. Norris, at

If it was me and I was in the States (hey!  I _am_ in the States!!)
I'd go to a bank and get cash pounds and send them through the mail,
rather than trying to mess around with international check-writing.  I
have sent cash successfully through the mails to the UK before, but
YMMV, send it at your own risk, read label before ingesting, etc.

Last I heard, tickets were _not_ going to be sold at the door, as the
Bottom Line is not in the best area of town, so get 'em now and avoid
disappointment.  The venue holds about 800 geezers 'n' birds...:-)
