odds-n-sods?

I was wondering ever since we got the expanded track lists for the three
upcoming reissues - AQO, SO & WN, what the expanded odds & sods will be like.
If you notice the songlists contain songs from Odds&sods:
           SO - Glow Girl
WN - Too much of anything, Naked Eye
This leads me to believe that odds & sods will definitely take on a different
character, as i'm sure these three songs will not be repeated on that reissue.

Also given the wealth of previously released material remaining unaccounted for
on the reissues, it seems to me one volume of rarities (odds & sods) will
simply not be adequate. What seems to make sense is a volume 1 & 2 approach -
maybe 1964 - 69 and 1970 - 74.

The following is a semi-complete (to the best of my knowledge) list of
previously issued rarities (rarities as in not included on reissued discs so
far).

** Since bonus tracks for MY GENERATION have not yet been selected I will list
1964-5 material separately from the rest.

** Also since studio box set material is being included on expanded reissues
(witness Sell Out) I will include such song in this list.

** All notes next to songs relate source of original official record release (to
the best of my limited knowledge).

1964-5

I'm The Face (as High Numbers - a-side single)
Here 'Tis (as High Numbers - Box Set)
Zoot Suit (as High Numbers - b-side single)
Leaving Here (as High Numbers - Who's Missing)
I Can't Explain (a-side debut single)
Bald Headed Woman (b-side debut single)
Anyway Anyhow Anywhere (a-side 2nd single)
Daddy Rolling Stone (uk b-side 2nd single)
Anytime You Want Me (us b-side 2nd single)
Shout & Shimmy (uk b-side 3rd single - My Generation)
Lubie (Who's Missing)
I'm A Man (Two's Missing)
Heat Wave (original version - Two's Missing)
Motoring (Two's Missing)

1966 - 69

Substitute (a-side 4th official single)
Circles (b-side 4th official single)
I'm A Boy (a-side 5th single)
Happy Jack (a-side 6th single)
I'm A Boy (original version - Who's Missing)
Pictures of Lily (a-side 7th single)
The Last Time (benefit/tribute single)
Under My Thumb (benefit/tribute single)
Dogs (a-side single)
Call Me Lightning (uk b-side Dogs - us a-side)
Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde (us b-side Call Me Lightning)
Majic Bus (a-side single)
Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde (different version uk b-side Majic Bus)
Dogs Part 2 (b-side Pinball Wizard)
Fortune Teller (Box Set)
Little Billy (odds & sods)
Faith in Something Bigger (odds & sods)

1970 - 74

The Seeker (a-side single)
Here For More (b-side single Seeker)
Heaven & Hell (b-side Summertime Blues)
Join Together (a-side single)
Relay (a-side single)
Waspman (b-side Relay)
Water (uk b-side 5:15 - us b-side Love Reign O'er Me)
Postcard (odds & sods)
Now I'm A Farmer (odds & sods)
Put The Money Down (odds & sods)
Pure & Easy (odds & sods)
Long Live Rock (odds & sods)

You may have noticed that the b-side of Join Together the live Baby Don't You
Do It has not been included on this list. the reason for this is I doubt live
material would be included on an odds & sods disc and would instead be held for
the retrospective live package forthcoming (IMO anyway).
While on that subject we also can add:
Bargain (Who's Missing - also on box set but I HATE the edit on the box)
      My Wife (Two's Missing)
Goin' Down (Two's Missing - I won't be surprised if this is never again
released as I'm surprised it ever was in the first place)
All four of these live titles are from San Francisco 1971 (according to the
liner notes of my tapes).

One final word:
I don't have the British My Generation disc (reissues are to mirror british lps
if there were track differences) so my list of rarities from that period may
not be accurate (for example i'm assuming that Anytime U Want Me (us b-side of
Anyway Anyhow Anywhere) is not on the british issue of the album - I may be
wrong).
Also I don't have (anymore) the american Majic Bus lp so there may be some
rarities on that that are not accounted for on my list.

Now for some really rare stuff:

According to the discog from the box set there were a number of such Track
sampler lps - any other such surprises?

Also one final note (no, really) :) , remember the post from Marty awhile back
taken from I believe Generations (btw thanx 4 that info Marty) there is also a
mention of two tracks from the late 60's Sell Out era which may make oddsnsods
- the studio Summertime Blues and My Way. I'm trying not to get too excited
about this cause we were also promised Time is Passing and Mary and an extra
2.5 minutes of live Majic Bus and the Spoonful section of Shakin' all over and
..... [ooh my head!! :( ].
