     Just heard on NPR that the new conductor of the Boston Pops was named 
     today -- Keith Lockheart (sp?), who is 35 years old and includes in 
     his list of musical tastes the Grateful Dead and the Who.
     
     This should bring tears of anticipatory joy to those on the list (not 
     including myself) who yearn for more symphonic interpretations of PT's 
     stuff.
     
     Can't wait to hear the Pops take on "Terrapin Station" or "Live at 
     Leeds"  :)
