WWW help for novices ?

Hey guys,

I don't want to bug everyone more than once on this list,
and hopefully I am not, but is there a place that contains
instructions for novices like myself to learn exactly how
to use the WWW, or how to access it ? Is there a FTP
site, perhaps, that I can retrieve ? 

Or if any one has a file they can pass to me. I would 
appreciate it, I feel left out with everyone knowing
about a WWW, I AM SO LONELY.... heehee :)
