Introduction and comment

Hello, this is my first posting to the Who list. I've lurked for a while
to get a feel for the traffic and am now decloaking to contribute to the
interesting discussion of what should go onto a multi-disc live anthology.

I know someone already mentioned the Swansea '76 show, and I have a selfish
reason for wanting that one to appear too, since that was my first Who
show (~1 week after I finished my finals :). In the almost quarter century
that I've been going to rock concerts that day still ranks as one of the
highest peaks in my memory - any other of this list's members that were
there? Let's reminisce! Anyway, I'm surprised that this hasn't already
appeared on [unofficial] CD. The subset of the show that was broadcast by
Capital Radio in London is only 73 mins. and so can easily go onto a single
disc. Well, I can but hope I suppose...and of course it'd be wonderful if
the whole thing were released officially. Any of you connected individuals
know if Charlesworth et al. are even considering such a move?

I guess that's enough for now; talk to you again.
