Vaguely Who-related questions

I've got a few questions which are not really Who-related but which I 
think this list is my best chance at getting answers to:

1)  On the CD release of the Small Faces' From the Beginning, there is a 
picture of Jimmy Winston as the keyboardist, but the liner notes say 
MacLagan.  Which one was it?

2)  Who, besides the Beatles and George Martin, played on the Beatles' 
records?  (I know about Billy Preston for Get Back and Don't Let Me Down, 
Brian Jones' sax on You Know My Name, and Nicky Hopkins on Revolution.  
Is there anyone else?)

3)  Who, besides the Who and Nicky Hopkins, played on the pre-Who's Next 
records?  Also, did Rabbit play on stage during the 82 tour?

Well, I guess that's actually it, and it's pretty Who-related.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, also, were there any boots of Live Aid?
