They'd probably laugh at you trying to put yourself in their minds.


Seriously, I never really thought of the comparisons myself until
the day I saw Daltrey at Tanglewood.  And who's to say that one
didn't have some kind of impact (conscious or not) on the other?
They are definately not obvious, but Pete may have lifted a Page
tendency somewhere or JPJ found something of Entwistle's playing
that he liked.  And since Keith and John Bonham were good friends,
it's not totally out of the question as far as drums are concered
(even with the clashing styles).


Throughout Rock history, bands have been watching other bands and
learning or improving upon ideas and styles.  The Beatles are the
greatest example.
