That would explain letting the guy go off the deep end so far... Had I
been in their shoes (mixed metaphor and armchair quarterbacking, I admit)
I'da kicked his ass black and blue.... Then tossed him out for awhile to
cool his heels.....  Anyhow, back to the regularly scheduled programming...
