Yes I saw the TKAA a dozen times, own the video, etc. That was my point, it
wasn't an original comment and the tying the observation to Jones seemed 
a bit simple.

Well, they didn't play live much after the Swansea show, and for most of the
late seventies, Moon was dead. I am not sure I agree, but YMMV.

Prob. true for all of them. It's true for me.

This is all fine - they did not sound like the Who with him, but I don't think
Jones is the only one that did not sound like the Who... Listen to PT's guitar
work on I Can't Explain on any show after 1973. He just lost interest in it. 

Blaming Jones for this is too simplistic, in my view.
