in today's USA TODAY (mcpaper) there is a top banner blurb,
in purple LIFE section,
about the RocknRoll Hall of Fame

"Opening at long last, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
 will finally open Sept. 1 in Cleveland. The I.M. Pei building
 will house a prized collection, which includes such oddities
 as platform shoes, right, worn by the late Keith Moon,
 drummer for The Who." TOMORROW

so look in tomorrow's mcpaper to scoop whats going on there 9/1/95-
there's a huge concert on 9/2, w/ Bruce, Mellencamp, so on...

it includes a nice color shot of said shoes, real dogs,
a big blue pair of screaming 70s
platform shoes (they look like play bald lizard's shoes, tho)

dont forget- it took a lot of shoe to bang those double
bass drums, as well as kick over the 7 or 8 floor toms
 - sod off!
