You're not alone, Dave! I agree with you entirely re: Psychoderelict. It was
not nearly as good as any of PT's first 4 solos (including Who Came First, which
I see as more like Scoop than Empty Glass/Chinese Eyes/White City). I enjoyed
wathching the PBS airing of the concert (with actors), but found the CD with
dialogue annoying.

OK,

PS: I seem to have missed the mark in my offhanded comment about Roger's guitar
abilities. I should excuse myself by saying that I've only heard/seen Rog play
guitar once, and that was on the Schlitz Tour during Eminence Front, which is a
pretty no-brainer guitar line. I've also seen photos of him with the High
Numbers (or was it the Detours?) with a guitar around his neck, but he was
looking down at his hands like he had no clue. I've also seen photos of the
same time when he is playing a trombone.

Finally, I have to agree wholeheartedly with Jeff Williams re: Steve Winwood's
guitar playing abilities. I'm a big fan of Traffic and a lot of SW's solo
stuff. I've thought for years that he is *the* finest Hammond organ player in
music, but he's also a unique guitarist. The Tommy show doesn't even touch his
real abilities. Listen to "(Sometimes I Feel So) Uninspired" on Shootout At The
Fantasy Factory for a taste of his best recorded studio solo.
