Jeff,

The song with the "little girl" you're talking about is "Peppermint Lump",
by Angie. It's a Stiff Records 45. And you're right, except for the lead
vocals, it SCREAMS PT.

The cover shows Angie and Pete leaning against a tree. The b-side shows the
band. I recognize Tony Butler and Rabbit Bundrick, but no-one else. 

Pete didn't write the a-side or b-side. I can't remember who did off hand.

It's a weird but great single.
