answerable, my friend, as those with WHO boots from 1969-70 can attest. NO, 
there were no horns when Tommy premiered. It was just the raw power of 
Daltrey, Townshend, Entwistle, and Moon. 

Kevin, I strongly suggest that you get a hold of a few boots from that period.
Your mind will be blown wide open!!!!

Also, if you read the Live at Leeds liner notes, it mentions that Tommy was 
played that night, but there is no mention of horns.
