Re: Athena live
The commercially release The Who Rocks America '82 (I have it in Beta format).
Does not contain Athena. Although I know some songs were edited out
from the comercially released video tape, most notably Behind Blue
Eyes, and I don't blame them, as (IMHO) I remember the performance
wasn't too good.
Was the Pay Per View the same night as the Toronto show released on tape?
I was in a bootleg shop a year ago, and on the monitors was playing a
Who tape from Toronto '82, and everyone was wearing different clothing than
on the commercial video that I have. I wonder if I saw the Pay Per View
tape at the store.
-David.
p.s. I have to correct my previous posting about NO songs from Face
Dances being performed when I saw The Who in 82. The Quiet One was
performed.
