Daltrey Show in Cleveland

With attendance at just under 5,000 in the 20,000 seat Coliseum, Daltrey
still put on a great show. The stage was moved to the middle of the arena
floor so that made the show intimate and gave everyone a great seat. (I'm
glad I didn't shell out the money for the gold circle seats.)

I felt out of place since the crowd was older and everyone had on concert
T's from the '70s. I had plenty of people around me telling all the great
shows I missed. I was feeling out of sorts until Roger did the
Quadrophenia segment. I have other people asking me what songs he was
playing. A few didn't even realize they were all on the same theme album.

The Plain Dealer rock critic missed the boat enitirely when he wrote that
Daltrey sang a great version of "Rain on Me."

Qudrophenia was great. I really wish the Who would take it on the road next
year.

Roger didn't have room to really swing his mic.

I was very happy to see that the orchestra didn't play with every song.
Naked Eye was excellent. Roger started on TKAA right after that song but
stopped. John kept going with the bass line but Roger didn't follow
through. It could have been a great moment.

At the end of the show, Roger did say, "We will be back." Whether that
meant the Who or the Julliard orchestra remains to be seen.

I really want to see this show again. Does anyone know the remaining dates?
