I read that basically Roger thought that Kenny was a 
"boring" drummer and really don't mesh well with John's playing.
Roger started playing some concert tapes after a tour and 
just didn't like what he heard. 

I (IMHO) would tend to agree. I think that Kenny was great in the
Who Are You tour rehearsal footage that's part of the latest video
tape, but something happened after that.  For example, I think
that Kenny's drumming on you better you bet is pretty pathetic. 
Just listen to it... clunk cluck clunk bang clunk clunk clunk  
bang.. a rhythm machine would have been more interesting. :-).
