Re: chain, chain

Hi all,

I am sending this out to those of you who I know. Please, if you ever get one
of these chain letters, don't be as foolish as I was and ignore it!!!! When I
first saw this e-mail, I ignored it, and now I have paid a great price for my
ignorance.

It turns out that last weekend after I received this letter and ignored it , I
was taking a nice pleasant drive on Highway 17 returning from Santa Cruz. I
was traveling at a rather high rate of speed, and I had the misfortune of
running over some fresh roadkill (I think/hope it was a cat) with my right
front tire. I hit it right smack in the middle and I heard a big splat. And
because it was still fresh, the internals of the roadkill splatted on my tire
and all over the front side of my car. This smelled real bad. I know because
the sunroof was open when it happened. When I looked at my tire there was
animal fur wedged in the grooves of my tire, which is not easy to remove. I am
just relieved I could get it out!

If I have learned any lesson here, it is that you should never tempt fate.
I had to spend $17 to get the remains of the roadkill washed off my car.

cheers,

bob
