Box $et

Wow, if your conversion of Australian to US os correct that is pretty steep.
At Tower Records here in Mt. View (California) the "regular" price is $63,
but they are selling it right now for $54. Someone else asked about the
price of the video. That has a sticker price of $35, but when I bought it
last night it also must be on sale because it came up as $31 or $32.
Oh, yes this is for the Laser Disk; I didn't check the price on the VHS
version.

Noteworthy music (a mail order only CD store) will have the box set for $48
when they re-open next week. I am trying to hold out till then and I have
the LD to keep me happy. Unfortunately, I don't think they will do overseas
shipping.

I only had a chance to watch the first side of the first disk, but I was
absolutely floored at the fantastic quality of both the performances and
the video/audio transfer. For stuff that is so old they did a great job.
Watching Moon on stuff like Young Man's Blues leaves me speechless. The
interviews are also well integrated with the flow of the music. Other than
some nits, like leaving off the superimposed song titles and the "Side One"
frames at the beginning, this is a very professional and high quality
disk...I think I'll go sing it's praises over on alt.laserdisks!
