Re: Replacement keyless entry remote for 97 Jetta

Argh, I meant to finish that but I hit send first. :-)

Anyway, there are some that will do like your windows up and down and a few other things that the
factory one doesn't. The kits aren't too expensive, considering, but it does involve replacing
relays and stuff. I'm sure a few google searches will get you more info.

I know there are a few aftermarket ones that are actually much cooler...

Subject: Replacement keyless entry remote for 97 Jetta

Hi all,

I have a '97 Jetta with the dealer-installed keyless entry system.
Unfortunately, I recently broke the last remote and the local dealership no
longer carries a replacement.

Does anyone know where I can pick one up?

Thanks,

Darren.
