Re: Hesitation Problem

Hello Ben,
You are on the right track, thinking about the ignition and injectors.
Is there lot of moisture or condensation where you park your Jetta? If
there is, the moisture could be collecting in the spark plug wire boots
that connect to the coil pack. I had similar problem after going through
car washes. The auto parts store should carry Dow Corning compound 4,
electrical insulating compound. This grease is designed for
waterproofing any electrical/ignition connection. Adding a bottle or two
of injector cleaner to the tank wouldn't hurt either. Hope this helps.
