RE: First time up to 6k

I'm pushing 156.5hp @ 5800rpm and 157.0tq @ 4500rpm to the wheels with a
Eurosport intake and exhaust. That's about 184hp to the crank. I just
installed a GIAC chip and expect between 5-8hp increase from my last dyno.

The chip definitely increases drivability and helps pull harder and further
into the 6500-7000 rpm range. Highway driving is a blast!

Subject: First time up to 6k

I have been gently pushing the R's up on my
Jetta and I must say that there is allot of
room for additional power delivery at and
above 5,500 until the drop off.

I stood 1st on it's ear then 2nd and
had to get on the brakes soon to avoid
getting to disrespectful of the speed
limit.

This VR6 motor is very smooth and I would imagine
that with a good chip and exhaust system it will
breath some more power into the mid and top end.

Mid range is great for daily driving!

If anyone could guesstimate what is the approx.
power increase that can be had by adding a chip,
cat back 2.5" exh system and maybe a better air
filter to increase flow to the stock AB?

Thanks
