Re: Looking for a new Project

Brakes is cheaper. Easier? Depends on how much you're doing... If by upgrading brakes you mean like
lines, master cylinder, rotors, pads all the way 'round, suspension is easier. If you're just doing
rotors and pads, or doing a full on sway bar, stress bar, spring, strut suspension upgrade, brakes
is much easier. Brakes are almost definitely cheaper, though.

My recommendation would be for whichever is more worn :-)

I'd go for H&R coilovers if you're going to upgrade your suspension; there was a thread on the
Vortex about your most regretted upgrade, and probably 75% of them all said "I wish I would've spent
the extra money on the coilovers!" rather than their existing spring/strut combos. I like my
Bilstein Sports and H&R Sports but would gladly swap them for coilovers if I could afford them.

If you're upgrading brakes, I'd say good Eurosport or ATE slotted (but not drilled) rotors,
stainless steel brake lines, ATE Super Blue fluid, and Pagid or Ferodo pads. I am running Eurosport
slotted, Velocity SS brake lines, Super Blue, and Ferodos and she STOPS! :-)

My two bits.
