'Serpentine' perhaps. I'd say inspect it and if you see cracks developing
then go ahead you're better off changing it. The belt's about $55 and about
an hours worth of labor. Surely beats getting stranded somewhere in the
middle of a cold winter night. I just did mine about 3 weeks ago.
