Re: Help needed

I'm very wary of the cross-drilling thing... unless they are VERY good brakes and you need to keep
your pads from burning up on account of all the autocrossing you do, ok, but otherwise I'd stick to
slotted. Make sure the pads are good, like Ferodo (dusty and noisy but the WORK) or Pagid or
something. I'd also go with stainless steel brake lines and flush yer system with ATE Super Blue or
some other good brake fluid when you change the stuff out.

Personally, I run 11.3" slotted Eurosports and love them; my car STOPS when I tell it to, and the SS
brake lines give it a great feel. Very responsive.

I don't know about fastvws' kits but I do know that Velocity Sport Tuning does an 11.3" upgrade kit
including lines and slotted rotors I think, check out www.velocitysport.com or call 310-952-0003 (I
order from them a lot :-)

Cheers,

Speaking of Brakes I lookin in to upgrading, their is a big brake upgrade at
fastvws.com, gives 11" rotors and slotted and cross-drilled w/ pads sound
good, anything else that would be a good idea let me know>

Depends on how bad the lip is and how much brake pad you have left....
there's a specification in
the Bentley on how much lip is too much. If your pads are worn enough it's
probably not a bad idea
to replace both rotors and pads. If you need good places to purchase those,
reply and I'm sure
you'll get a few responses for good deals.

Thanks for all the input. Once I checked it did turn out tobe my brake
fluid being on the edge of minimum.
Once I filled it up the problem went away. I don't know why I did not
think about the gas cap not being
on tight but that was it.
Since everyone was so good with the brakes I have another question for
you. Someone I work with told me
I am going to need new roters soon because ther is a lip on the edge of my
roters. Is this true?
