***3rd Annual Superbowl Gathering - Full Steam Ahead***

Hey all,
Permit has been delivered! We are a go for the event. The event will be held
Jan 28th from 10am - 3pm at Jones Beach State Park. We will be gathering at
Field 4 which is the same parking field as last year and one parking field
over from where DriversFest was held two years ago. Vendors who are willing
to donate gift certificates that will be raffled off are being contacted at
the very moment. All proceeds / donations from this event will be presented
to a representative of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation who will be in
attendance on this day. A press release will also be sent out within the
next few business days. We're hoping to get local Ch. 12 coverage for this
one......hey, you never know. Any vendors willing to make a gift certificate
donation that will be raffled off at this event can contact me directly at
FlyinVR6@oponline.net . One more thing....a cruise has not been scheduled
for this event, however, anyone willing to organize a cruise that starts and
ends at the event should contact me to go over simple planning issues.
Once again, this event had 64 cars the first year and 55 cars last year
which was abbreviated due to threats of very bad weather, so this year we
are shooting high again. Hopefully we can get that 60+ number again, this
time for a good cause!!!
