Ok. So it seems that no one has a clue of what the possible problem with my 
car is, beyond the possibility of a need replace my oil pump. It's the only 
thing I could come up with anyway, and it's the only suggestion I can get 
from all'y'all listers. No other possible sources for oil system pressure 
leaks?

Next question - anyone know where I can get a VR6 (vintage 96.5+) oil pump 
of the remanufactured sort? How about a low mileage used one? I'm not really 
feeling in the mood to spend $250 on anything right now, unless absolutely 
necessary (which, I will grant, this repair probably is). Of course, in this 
process, I will also be changing the oil, oil pan (mine has suffered a few 
dings and scratches), oil pan gasket - all adding up to nearly 100 
additional smackaroos. So it won't be cheap, but of course I'll be saving 
mega bucks by doing the work myself (little consolation). I appreciate your 
suggestions/leads.
