Zab,

yes, the brakes; rotors and calipers will fit on your car.  They are the same as
the ones that came from the factory as on your '98 Jetta GLX but mine have the
calipers painted, crossdrilled rotors, and Mintex pads.  I will take some pics
and e-mail them to you.
