no.  not unless the car is running and the coil pack it wet.  if you want to
see if this is your problem just start the car and mist the coil pack with a
plant sprayer.  if you see a light show you have found the problem(s).  Go
down to Home Depot, get some epoxy and start painting.  This has work for me
for over 10,000 miles now (pack went at 32,000 and I now have 43,000).  And
it was cheap!

  This sounds like it could be what I'm experiencing.  Are these cracks
visible to the eye?  Can I tell by looking?
